OHR Afrika Collective
The Creative leader of this project is Ezeadi Onukwulu (aka Patrick U Onukwulu) the award-winning multi-instrumentalist singer/songwriter and Canadian citizen; resident of British Columbia for the past forty-three (43) years.
He is also the Artistic Director of the organization. He contributed four songs to the Project
The Project is his vision that manifested in the, organization receiving funding from Creative BC to record the Album at Turtle Studios in South Surrey late 2017
He has been involved in the arts and culture scene in the Lower Mainland since he started the first African/World music radio program in the late seventies at SFU where he got a degree in Economics and Business Studies.
Cassandra Onyejikwe (aka…Ndidi Cascade) is African Canadian of European and Igbo heritage born and raised in the Lower Mainland. Developing her sensibilities since high school she went on to graduate from SFU becoming a teacher as she continue to garner accolades in the hip/hop and urban music in the country and internationally. A versatile and prolific song/rhyme writer she has worked with a lot of people and in schools all over the province with youth of all heritages. She wrote one of the songs on the cd.
Michael Auguste (aka Josey Radik) is a very talented singer/songwriter who immigrated to Canada from Jamaica via England. He is a well-known personality in the Reggae/Dancehall music scene. He has supported and performed with several local, national and international artists. Josey contributed one of the eight (8) songs chosen to be in this project.
And also from Jamaica, though not in the recording we are also sharing with you “Stainless”
an independent recording Artist.
