WHAT IS THE FESTIVAL ALL ABOUT?
The Richmond World Festival is the City’s signature event attracting over 40,000 people in 2017. On Friday, August 31 and Saturday, September 1, this festival will celebrate the city’s cultural diversity though music, food, sport and art from around the world. The event features over 90 artists on the festival’s nine stages. And ever popular FEASTival of Flavours returns with over 50 of the region’s best food trucks. There’s something for everyone and admission is free!

WHERE TO STAY:
The official hotel of the Richmond World Festival is the Sheraton Vancouver Airport Hotel. Located within walking distance from the festival site, the Sheraton offers an outdoor pool and hot tub, restaurant, and a warm and inviting experience. The Richmond World Festival site is fully accessible. Accessible parking is located in the lot behind Minoru Aquatic Centre (enter off Granville Avenue). Ramps will be installed to ensure that those with mobility devices are able to get around the entire site. Accessible washrooms are available at all City facilities within the site (Richmond Cultural Centre, Minoru Aquatic Centre, Minoru Arenas, Minoru Place Activity Centre), and every bank of portable toilets provided on site includes at least one accessible toilet.

3. Please refrain from wearing shoes with spiked heels as they may penetrate and damage the turf field
4. No alcohol
